We made it!
We made it through our first week of day care. I can't really say it was good or bad. Bryce seems to be surviving. Probably better than we are really. It is so hard to look through the window and see him strapped to a chair crying. But such are the choices we have made. It appears to impossible for them to follow his schedule so we are probably going to give up on that. He is so tired at night when we get home, he sleeps most of the evening. Kind of depressing, but only 5.5 months to go and I will be home with him for a couple of months. I started working full time and the middle school and it will be challenging and I am looking forward to learning a lot. We took Bryce to an art opening last night and showed him the art. I asked Damon as we walked in "is it wierd to bring a baby here?" I still don't know, there weren't any other babies. This morning we took Tarn out for a much needed hike. He proceeded to chase a coyote up the canyon. Fortunately, he came back after a few minutes. Bryce stayed up for a bit of the hike.
oh i've been wondering how he is doing. i bet it will be easier this week, firsts are always hard. love seeing the hat out in the snow and on his head! and no, not weird at all to take a baby out to see art. the sooner the better:) you guys are GOOD,no guilt this week!
hang in there cory! it has to get better!!! If you get time in your life, call me for a walk or something. I am going to be home for a while waiting for this kid to arrive. i took harper to his first art opening at 3 weeks. what the heck, why not bring him to stuff like that??? did you hike at snow mountain? i bet it was beautiful. we were out at cowiche canyon the other day, it was so still and snowy. saguate and harper love it out there. lets get together soon. xo

It's probably so exciting at day care that he won't sleep. He will adjust and so will you. One day at a time, Cory. So good to see you over the break!
