Happy Birthday B

You are one special 3 year old. You always want to do anything suggested. Most days you say it was a good day. You love to hike and be in the fresh air! You love to learn and play. And planes, trains, and automobiles. You can't get enough. You are so loved! You are an amazing big brother, son and friend. We will work on putting our head through the net at soccer practice.

Soccer star

I don't have any pictures from Bryce's first soccer experience. I was too busy trying to keep a bit older than toddlers on task. Don't even mind my little soccer star he is spotting airplanes and not even close to lining up for drills. When asked who was going to preK by one of the dads, Bryce reports, i get to go preschool when i poop in the potty. Our itty bitty soccer coach didn't show, but one of the dad's stepped up. Another dad and I helped until I was called away to feed Quin, who just had his four month shots. Good thing soccer is across the street and grandparents were here to help. Hopefully next practice will run more smoothly (i have been googling soccer drills for 3 year olds) and only one kiddo will pee their pants. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Thanks again Bryce for providing much needed amusement you are a sport.

Diapers

Yup still in (please ignore dirty house). We stayed in the house for four days. Count them four and used the potty every 20 minutes. That is 36 times a day. Times four. 144 times if my math is correct. Then we over did the laxative type substances. There is no way he is going without a diaper. He gladly posed for this picture to show off his diaper. Starting Thursday we will go for four days. So far I have only thrown one big giant fit.

What I didn't do on summer vacation

I didn't potty train my two weeks from being three year old. And I didn't put my two days past 4 months old on a schedule. I have exactly 10 days to accomplish both. Well kid #1 only pissed on the floor 3 times today. Don't worry he cleaned it up by rubbing his hand in it. But dang they are cute - as long as you don't leave the room. That's when #1 starts swinging #2 to the stars. Work will so be a vacation.

Little piece of heaven

Although this summer hasn't been super fabulous. Two kids and snoqualmie pass were a challenge or maybe two kids was a challenge. Well we didn't hike much, but we dialed in library time.

Zen

I want to be all zen but I am just not. Zen mama. Instead my brain is full of where's my kid, did he eat, sleep, where's the dog, are the bills paid. Did I play enough talking cars today. Maybe zen mama is unattainable. Trying to be zen mama may be really un-zen. At least Quin can already double fist. I am sure he's a genius.

Car jail

The first order of business today, making a car jail. I am pretty sure Bryce doesn't understand what this means.
